I am a sportscaster with five years of on-air experience. My ambition, drive and passion for sports pushed me to work my way up from intern to production assistant, news photographer, sports reporter and now Sports Anchor/Executive Producer at WBIR-TV, the NBC affiliate in Knoxville, Tennessee.

During my eight years in TV, I’ve had the privilege to cover the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments, the Stanley Cup Final, bowl games, a game-winning Hail Mary and the craziest coaching search in college football history.

I enjoy challenging the status quo and coming up with new ideas. Recently, I’ve created a popular Helmet Stickers segment for our Friday night high school football show, started a podcast and led the sports team on a project commemorating the 20th anniversary of Tennessee’s 1998 national championship team with 15 television stories, numerous digital elements and an hour-long special. I shoot, write and edit my own stories and also post to our website and run the sports department’s social media accounts.

My first passion project as a sports reporter at WBIR was starting my 'Film Study' segment, which was nominated for a regional Emmy in 2015. I spent countless hours in my spare time pouring over Tennessee football game video and forming relationships with former Vols coaches Mike Bajakian and Butch Jones to take the fans on a deep dive into the X's and O's of the game each week. I have continued the segment over the last few years, improving my knowledge of the game and presentation skills along the way.

Storytelling is another interest of mine. In the summer of 2017, I developed an idea for a mini-documentary series called “10Sports Presents.” Over the last couple of years it’s been a lot of fun working with my sports team to make that dream a reality. I produced, shot, wrote and edited the latest installment, “Peyton Stays,” about Peyton Manning’s decision to stay at Tennessee for his senior year.

My love for sports started on the fields of Oakland Park, Florida where I played as a kid and in the stands at Miami Arena, Hard Rock Stadium and BB&T Center, watching games with my dad.

My football analyst reel includes my latest work from the 2018 season breaking down the X’s and O’s of Tennessee football.
